What you will be doing During this apprenticeship, the activities you may undertake will include: You will gain experience across the whole wing and sub assembly process along with gaining a good overview of the current manufacturing process along with developing future solutions; The tasks will be varied and require you to use different skills (technical, project management, communication etc.) in order to complete them successfully; You will initiate and support activities within the team along with working with Quality, Operations, finance and other functions; Manufacturing Engineering is a crucial link with the design organisation and production, therefore you will need to build relationships with stakeholders from across multiple functions, taking differing views into consideration, soliciting different views always with the customer in mind; We are a diverse and inclusive team and value different ways of thinking and working to get a technical solution. Requirements In order to be eligible for this exciting apprenticeship, you must have a minimum of: A level in Maths and Physics at C or above OR Level 3 engineering qualification (BTEC Level 3 Diploma/ Extended Diploma or T level) at Merit or above AND Five GCSEs at 4/C and above including Mathematics , English Language and Science Successful candidates should demonstrate the following: Proficient oral and written communication skills; Desire to work in a technical team environment; A strong interest in developing yourself; Interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems; Able to make decisions based on evidence; The desire to work in an open and trusting environment; Submit your CV stating your grades and if they are predicted or achieved ; Submit a Cover Letter highlighting your passion and suitability for this apprenticeship. Important Information GRADES: If you are on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional to achieving the position’s requirements before the apprenticeship start date. SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role. RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK: Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom for the full duration of the programme.
