AAT Accountant Apprentice

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic AAT Apprentice Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their accounting career who wants to gain practical experience while working towards an AAT accounting qualification. You will receive on-the-job training and support from experienced members of the practice, developing the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career in accountancy. Key responsibilities: Client onboarding and compliance checks. Day to day bookkeeping and payroll using Sage and Xero cloud accounting software. Month and quarter end management accounts. Profit forecasts and cash flow projections. VAT returns. Financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Individual, partnership and corporation tax returns. Company secretarial work. Ad-hoc projects as required by the client. General office duties as and when required.
