Weekly Hours Worked: Monday to Thursday: 0800-1600, Friday 0800-1530 Description of company: Multi Academy Trust supporting 2 primary schools and 2 secondary schools HR Admin: Supporting the drafting of employment documents, such as contract change letters, pay award or promotion letters, as required Ensuring all actions relating to leavers are completed in a timely way, participating in exit interviews as required Manage the HR Inbox ensuring emails are allocated to the correct individual for attention Efficient HR administration and filing, remaining mindful of confidentiality, GDPR and data retention principles Supporting the preparation of the annual staff workforce CENSUS Supporting actions relating to training and CPD, including the annual safeguarding declarations ·Supporting with general administrative duties, such as raising Requisitions for Finance, IT calls etc Working alongside members of the HR Team in a collaborative way Access People (HR & Payroll system): Ensuring that all records are updated and maintained in an accurate and timely way To assist with Access People, resolving employees’ queries, liaising with the system help desk as needed Assisting with the delivery of communications to current and new employees on the system’s functionality Supporting the monthly payroll submissions Contributing to identifying ways in which the system can be used to streamline HR processes Preparing reports as required for stakeholders Employee Relations: To respond to day-to-day queries for employees relating to their employment To develop an understanding of employee relations practice and provide support as required Recruitment & Onboarding Admin: Supporting with the provision of the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of staff ensuring to a timely, efficient, compliant, and accurate provision Advertising vacancies across the MAT, both internally and externally Supporting at interview days, as and when required Supporting with pre-interviews, pre-employment checks/paperwork and preparing staff files in line with Safer Recruitment standards and DBS protocols, including the timely and accurate issuance of contracts, entering onto the HRIS systems and the Single Central Record Supporting the administration of Trustee appointments and agency worker appointments, as required Supporting with the monitoring of probation periods and ensuring forms are returned with the specified time periods, highlighting any issues to the HRM and/or HRD Pension/Benefits: Cycle to Work Scheme EAP Local Government Pension Scheme (subject to meeting eligibility criteria) Enhance leave of absence policy Generous sick pay Free on-site parking at all sites Substantially discounted membership to Lifestyle Fitness Gym
