You’ll receive hands-on training and support while developing valuable skills in administration, communication, organisation and customer service. What you’ll be doing Answering and directing telephone calls Filing and organising documents Processing purchase orders and administrative forms Printing, scanning and archiving documents Supporting the team with general office administration Assisting engineers with administrative requirements Updating and maintaining records Handling information accurately and confidentially Using Microsoft Office and other office systems Monitoring office supplies and resources Communicating professionally with colleagues and other stakeholders Supporting the day-to-day running of the office Learning new systems and processes as required What we’re looking for Good organisation and time-management skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn Reliable and punctual Strong attention to detail Good communication skills Able to follow instructions and complete tasks to deadlines Comfortable asking questions and taking feedback Professional and respectful approach Good basic numeracy and written communication skills Commitment to completing the apprenticeship Qualifications GCSE English and Maths at grades 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent. Previous office experience is not essential as full training will be provided. We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, develop their skills and build a career in office administration. Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm 40 hours per week Apprenticeship Business Administration Apprenticeship Level 3 The apprenticeship combines practical workplace experience with structured training, allowing you to develop skills in areas including: Business administration Data and document management Professional communication Microsoft Office and digital systems Organisation and time management Handling confidential information Maintaining records Supporting colleagues and stakeholders Workplace health and safety Using cloud-based systems and technology Career progression This is a long-term opportunity for someone looking to establish a career in administration.
