Children's Residential Mental Health Support Worker Location: Friday Bridge, Wisbech Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people? As a Children's Residential Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing emotional, social, and practical support to children and young people with mental health needs in a nurturing and safe environment. You will work as part of a dynamic team to promote positive outcomes and help the young people develop essential life skills. Responsibilities Include: • Providing one-to-one and group support to children and young people. • Supporting daily routines, including bedtime, and activities. • Supporting Children attend Education • Helping young people manage their emotions and behaviours effectively. • Promoting a safe and caring environment. • Recording and reporting on the progress and well-being of the children. • Collaborating with team members, families, and external professionals. What We're Looking For: • A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for supporting young people. • Experience working in residential care, mental health, or a similar field (preferred but not essential). • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Resilience and the ability to stay calm under pressure. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. • Applicants must be aged 21 or over, in line with OFSTED requirements.
