Bank Support Workers (Drivers Preferred) – Flexible Cover Role | South Wales
Locations: Swansea (Brynhyfryd) & Burry port - Applicants must be willing to travel across these areas.
Hours: Day & night shifts
Contract: Bank / zero-hours – providing cover for sickness, annual leave, and service needs as required
Are you a compassionate and reliable support worker with a full driving licence, looking for a flexible bank role? Join Active Care Group, a leading provider of specialist care, and support our North Wales teams by providing essential cover during staff sickness and annual leave.
This role is ideal for those seeking ad-hoc or flexible work, alongside other commitments.
This is not a domiciliary care role. You will be part of a specialist team delivering one-to-one support to clients with complex needs, including spinal injuries, brain injuries, epilepsy, neurological conditions, and learning disabilities.
When you'll work:
- Day and night shifts available
- Bank shifts offered as required to cover sickness and annual leave across 2 of our south Wales packages
- Flexible scheduling based on service need and your availability
What you'll be doing:
Supporting clients in their own homes with:
- Personal care
- Medication administration
- Moving and handling
- Managing clinical equipment
- Shopping
- Providing short-term and ongoing cover within existing care packages, and supporting new packages when needed
