What You'll Do As a Business Administration Apprentice, you’ll support the team with the smooth running of the office. Your duties will include: Answering incoming calls and dealing with customer enquiries Responding to emails, letters and other correspondence Ordering stationery and general office supplies Supporting with invoices and payment processing Entering and maintaining accurate information on company systems Filing and organising electronic and paper records Photocopying, scanning and preparing documents Using Microsoft Office and other computer systems Handling information in line with data protection requirements Providing general administrative support to colleagues Following company procedures and helping to keep office processes organised As you gain experience, you’ll have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and develop your knowledge of business administration. What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who is polite, organised and keen to learn . You should be comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues and willing to get involved in a variety of office-based tasks. Skills Good communication skills Confident telephone manner IT skills and willingness to learn new systems Good attention to detail Organisation and time management Customer service skills Administrative skills Ability to work as part of a team Initiative and willingness to take responsibility Polite and professional approach Requirements 4 GCSEs, including Maths and English Training & Development You’ll work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship while gaining practical experience in the workplace. The apprenticeship will help you develop skills in areas including: Business administration Customer service Business communication IT and digital systems Record keeping and data management Document production Organisation and time management Handling confidential information Supporting business processes Benefits 30 days annual leave, including Bank Holidays Full training and support throughout the apprenticeship Practical experience in a professional office environment Opportunity to develop a broad range of business and administration skills Potential to take on increased responsibility as you progress Progression A full-time position may be offered to the right candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship.
