About Heatherstones Court Located near Savile Park, Halifax , Heatherstones Court is a welcoming, purpose-built service providing: Self-contained apartments Short-term reablement support A safe and supportive environment for recovery and personal growth About the Role As a Reablement Support Worker , you will support individuals following illness, injury, hospital discharge, or changes in personal circumstances. Unlike traditional care roles, reablement focuses on enabling people to rebuild confidence, develop skills, and maintain independence , rather than doing tasks for them. You'll support people with: Personal care and daily living activities Mobility and safe movement around the home Meal preparation and nutrition Medication support, including ordering, stock checks, receiving prescriptions, and liaising with GPs and pharmacies Goal-focused independence plans Community access and social inclusion Building confidence and promoting wellbeing What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who are: Experienced in care and passionate about making a difference Caring, compassionate, and patient Committed to promoting independence Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills Reliable, professional, and adaptable Flexible and able to work shifts, including weekends Why Choose Reablement?
