Overview We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Finance Apprentice to join our Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic housing association while studying towards a Modern Apprenticeship qualification. You'll work alongside experienced finance professionals, develop valuable workplace skills, and play an important role in supporting the financial operations that help us provide quality homes and services to our tenants and communities. Responsibilities Act as first responder to finance queries from colleagues and suppliers, managing the shared Finance and Accounts inbox and investigating invoices, payments, income and account information. Support the tendering process by logging tickets on the shared server and allocating them to the relevant engineering team member. Use HomeMaster housing management software to upload and manage invoices and purchase orders. Process invoices and supplier payments using AI-enabled invoice scanning technology, ensuring timely and accurate recording and authorisation. Maintain accurate income and financial records on HomeMaster and the centralised document system, ensuring GDPR compliance. Assist with bank reconciliations and resolve transaction discrepancies. Support the preparation of management information, financial reports and spreadsheets using HomeMaster and Microsoft Excel. Contribute to financial control, governance and compliance processes. Desirable skills Good communication and organisational skills. Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Eagerness to learn new systems and processes. Customer service experience desirable. Salary and working hours Salary: £24,479 per annum Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm, 35 hours per week.
