Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behaviour to the supervising staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to hygiene standards. Engage with residents through meaningful conversation and activities to promote their mental well-being. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and continuity of care. Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport. Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge in senior care. Experience Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn. Familiarity with IT systems used for documentation and communication within the care home environment is beneficial. Demonstrated leadership qualities, particularly in supervising or mentoring junior staff members, will be considered an asset.
