Job Description: Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities Assist residents and clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support Follow individual care plans to deliver personalised care and support Support with medication administration in accordance with prescribed instructions Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents' or clients' conditions Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required Support residents in engaging with social activities and promoting wellbeing Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times Use IT systems to update records and document care activities efficiently Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments when necessary Skills Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work effectively within a care home environment or providing home care services Experience or familiarity with creating or following care plans is desirable Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes Driving licence is advantageous for supporting outings or home visits Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing This role offers an enriching opportunity for individuals committed to providing exceptional care.
