Agency Care Assistant – Care Home Location: Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford Pay Rate: £14.50–£17.00 per hour Job Type: Temporary / Agency Shifts: Days, Nights & Weekends Available Start Date: Immediate Agency Care Assistants – Flexible Care Home Shifts We are currently recruiting experienced Care Assistants to work on a temporary agency basis in care homes across Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford This is a great opportunity for reliable and caring individuals looking for flexible shifts, competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a range of care providers . The Role As an Agency Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily care needs while promoting their dignity, independence and wellbeing. Your responsibilities may include: Providing personal care and assistance with daily living Supporting residents with washing, dressing and mobility Assisting with meals and hydration Supporting residents with medication where appropriately trained Providing companionship and emotional support Following individual care plans Maintaining accurate care records Working effectively with senior carers, nurses and other care professionals Promoting a safe, respectful and comfortable environment for residents What We're Looking For We are looking for candidates who are: Caring, compassionate and reliable Experienced in working within a care home or similar setting Confident providing personal care Able to work independently and as part of a team Professional and respectful towards residents Flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts Committed to providing high-quality care Care qualifications such as NVQ/QCF Level 2 or above are desirable but not always essential, depending on the role.
