A friendly golf club near Blackburn is looking for a creative, motivated apprentice to join its small team and help bring the club's digital presence to life — capturing everything from match days and tournaments to member events and course life.Digital marketing is more than a nice photo on Instagram — it's a whole toolkit, and you'll get hands-on exposure to all of it, including:Email marketing campaignsWebsite development and updatesSocial media management (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok)Photography and videography — think tournament highlights, course shots and member momentsDesign work using Adobe Suite (where relevant)Blog and content writing — from tips and event write-ups to player featuresSEO (Search Engine Optimisation)Responding to customer queries via social media and emailGoogle Analytics and performance trackingWhat you'll be doing:Digital PresenceCreate and schedule engaging content showcasing the club's course, facilities, events and offersMonitor social channels for trends and engagement opportunities, keeping an eye on what's happening in the golf worldRespond to online enquiries and build the club's online communityContent CreationCollaborate with the team on digital content that highlights the club, its events and its membersContribute to blog posts, articles and multimedia content — great scope here for anyone who enjoys sports writing or match-day coverageEmail CommunicationSupport email campaigns covering club news, events, tournaments and offersHelp build and maintain contact/mailing listsBusiness InsightLearn how digital marketing principles apply within a sporting/leisure setting. Gain exposure to different areas of the business for a well-rounded understanding.AdaptabilityStay curious about new tools, platforms and trends. Work closely with a small team, pitching in across different tasks — including at events and on tournament days.Analytical SkillsTake an interest in interpreting performance data (social insights, website analytics).
