Timelines Assessment Centre: mid-October 2026Start Date: 18 January 2027 What to Expect Our 2-year Apprenticeship Programme gives you the opportunity to earn while you learn,gaining hands-on experience in client communications, data analysis, reporting and business operations while working towards a Level 3 Compliance and Risk Officer qualification. Supported by coaches, mentors and industry professionals, you'll develop valuable skills and build a strong foundation fora career in banking and financial services. Client KYC Group (CKG) is part of MUFG's Corporate & Investment Banking division and plays an important role in helping the bank meet its legal and regulatory requirements. The team works closely with clients and colleagues across Banking and Securities to collect and review information, helping ensure the bank can safely and confidently do business with its clients. What you'll do· Support the on boarding of new clients and the review of existing client accounts.· Carry out checks to help protect the bank from financial crime and other risks.· Review and update client information to make sure records are accurate and complete.· Help ensure the bank has the information it needs before working with new clients.· Support the team in meeting important regulatory and compliance requirements.· Work with colleagues across the bank to ensure client requests are completed efficiently.· Assist with maintaining records, reports and documentation.· Contribute to projects and process improvements across the team.What you’ll learn · Valuable skills in analysis, problem-solving, organisation and stakeholder management.· How banks verify client information and manage client relationships.· The fundamentals of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).· How financial institutions identify and manage risk.· The role compliance and regulation play in the banking industry.· How different teams work together to support clients and meet regulatory requirements.· How a global bank operates and supports clients around the world.· Real-world experience in financial services from day one As part of a select apprentice intake, you'll learn from industry experts, gain real responsibility, and build valuable connections across the business.
