Were now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Food and Beverage Team Member at Elstree View Care Home in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include: Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining. Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures. Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options. Being aware of residents dietary requirements.
Main duties of the job
The role involves supporting with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Responsibilities include supporting residents with meal choices, setting dining tables meeting standard procedures, keeping front-of-house areas clean and tidy, ensuring the availability of fresh cakes and snacks, and being aware of dietary requirements. Candidates should demonstrate high personal hygiene, compassion, commitment, and preferably have experience in similar settings, such as restaurants or hotels. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial. A DBS check is required, paid for by Avery Healthcare, along with proof of UK work eligibility.
