Spher We empower women and allies to report safety concerns into actionable data for city leaders. Partnerships & Growth Volunteer | Help Spher Reach More Women in the UK Use your communication skills and ideas to help a women-first startup build meaningful partnerships across the UK. Spher is a free safety and community app for women, created by women. It brings together tools for alerting trusted contacts and sharing your location during an alarm, alongside communities, friendships and educational content. We’re looking for 2–3 volunteers to form our UK partnerships team. Together, you’ll connect Spher with organisations that can help more women discover the app and benefit from relevant communities, content and collaborations. What you’ll do Identify and approach companies, universities, student networks, women’s communities, creators and organisations. Develop ideas for joint campaigns, educational activities, partner offers, community projects and paid partnerships. Introduce Spher to potential partners and keep promising conversations moving. Work with your teammates and Spher’s founder on proposals, follow-ups and partnership activities. Keep a shared record of opportunities and help measure the results. Think beyond your immediate area. You can explore regional and national partnerships, businesses with multiple locations and collaborations involving our other country teams. Who we’re looking for You care about making a positive difference for women. You’re curious, organised and confident communicating with new people. You enjoy taking initiative while working as part of a supportive team. Experience in partnerships, outreach, sales, marketing or community building is welcome. You should be based in the UK and communicate confidently in English. What you’ll gain You’ll experience how a fast-paced startup develops ideas, builds relationships and learns along the way. Develop your research, pitching, negotiation and teamwork skills through practical work with a clear purpose. Spher’s founder will be there with guidance, outreach materials, feedback and support. There will be room to suggest ideas, learn from one another and have fun celebrating the partnerships you help bring to life. Commission This role has no fixed salary. You will receive commission when a paid partnership you help establish is agreed and signed. The commission rate, how contributions are credited and the payment schedule will be agreed with you in writing before you begin partnership outreach.
