Experienced Rota Nanny sought ASAP by a warm, informal family in Kensington to care for a boy aged 6 (at school) and girl aged 1. This role is working on a one week on, one week off rota, with the possibility of longer rotations during family travel, predominantly within Europe. Sole charge of the children, with responsibility for all nursery duties and a sound understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing and age-appropriate learning. The nanny will be confident in supporting developmental milestones, encouraging language and communication skills, independence and social development, whilst providing a stimulating and nurturing environment. Duties include planning creative and educational activities, learning through play, reading, arts and crafts, music, outdoor pursuits and outings, alongside supporting established routines and the children's individual interests and needs. The family employ a full complement of household staff and seek a calm, organised, hands-on nanny with a genuine love of children, who is a natural team player and will fit comfortably into their household. A proactive yet relaxed approach, good communication skills and the ability to provide consistency between rota handovers are important. A childcare qualification, French language skills and driving ability would be advantageous. No pets currently, although the family may introduce a dog in the future. Own bedroom and bathroom provided. Longevity and a proven commitment to previous families are essential. Offering a salary of £80-90kgpa depending on experience and qualifications. ASAP Start.
