As part of a high-performing Digital Engineering team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, governance and effective use of geospatial information across a complex, multi-billion-pound programme. Job Responsibilities As a GIS Data Analyst, you will support the management, governance and quality assurance of geospatial data within a large-scale Common Data Environment (CDE). Key responsibilities include: Manage GIS data exchanges from internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring data quality and compliance with established standards. Analyse and investigate data quality issues, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for improvement. Support the governance and maintenance of GIS data within the organisation's Digital Engineering framework. Develop, deliver and support training programmes related to GIS standards, tools and processes. Create and maintain GIS data workflows, automations and transformation processes to improve efficiency and data interoperability. Work closely with engineering, project delivery and supplier teams to ensure accurate and timely geospatial data delivery. Contribute to the development of data standards, specifications and continuous improvement initiatives across the Digital Engineering function. Support data integration, visualisation and reporting activities to enable informed business decisions.
