Are you an experienced School Caretaker looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking reliable, practical and hardworking individuals for temporary School Caretaker roles within schools. Previous experience as a School Caretaker or Site Manager is advantageous. However, candidates with relevant plumbing, carpentry, painting or general maintenance experience gained in a similar environment will also be considered. Working Hours You must be flexible and available to work on a temporary basis between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Depending on the school's requirements, shifts may include: Full-day shifts: Working between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Split shifts: For example, 7:00-10:00 am and 3:00-6:00 pm. Key Responsibilities As a School Caretaker, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Site security: Ensuring school buildings and grounds are secure. Maintenance and repairs: Carrying out general repairs and basic maintenance. Health and Safety: Helping to maintain a safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors. General upkeep: Keeping the school premises clean, tidy and well maintained. Event support: Assisting with the setup and preparation of school events and activities. You will also need an Enhanced DBS check for the Child Workforce, which we can process on your behalf at a cost of £56. This fee does not apply if you already hold an eligible DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
