We are currently working with a major highways service provider to appoint 2X permanent Site Agent to lead vital maintenance and improvement schemes across the Hertfordshire network. The Site Agent Role & Responsibilities Working predominantly on-site (approx. 70%+ of the time) across Hertfordshire, you will take full operational ownership of highway improvement and maintenance schemes ranging from £10k to £3m. Operational Leadership: Plan and sequence works to maximise productivity, minimise disruption, and lead early morning site briefings. Safety & Quality Champion: Act as a visible role model for Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ), driving absolute standards on live, public-facing carriageways. Stakeholder & Traffic Management: Coordinate complex traffic management systems, pedestrian interfaces, and engage professionally with clients, local authorities, and the public.
