Wanstead Activity Centre, Grove Park, Wanstead Can you help us to provide a lunch for older people in your community ? We are currently looking for Volunteer Kitchen Assistants • To help prepare ingredients for lunch, peeling veg etc. • NO actual cooking – We have a trained qualified chef for that. • Serve food to plates in the kitchen for our other volunteers to serve to visitors • Assist with keeping a clean and tidy kitchen • Washing up, collecting dirty dishes • 10am-2pm on any day Mon – Fri - Free lunch provided - • Previous experience in catering would be helpful but not necessary • Volunteers are not required to undertake any cooking. • All volunteers attend a full Induction training • Age 18 plus
