Job Outline: We are looking for an energetic, compassionate and resourceful person with a positive, can-do attitude to join our Women s Centre team. This is an active, varied role for someone who enjoys engaging people, creating opportunities, facilitating groups and making things happen.

The Women s Centre is a welcoming, safe and non-judgemental environment for women who may be experiencing challenges including domestic or sexual abuse, trauma, homelessness, substance use, exploitation, isolation or involvement with the criminal justice system. We work with women as individuals, recognising their strengths, interests, choices and aspirations.

Your principal responsibility will be to encourage participation and plan, develop and deliver enjoyable, purposeful activities that build confidence, skills, wellbeing and connections. You will help women overcome barriers to taking part, contribute to our drop-in service and link women with opportunities across the Centre and with partners.

We recognise that engagement and progress are not always straightforward. You will bring patience and an understanding of trauma, alongside initiative, practical problem-solving, resilience and sound professional judgement. You will work closely with colleagues, volunteers and partners, maintaining clear boundaries and using supervision and team support appropriately.
