Assistant Quantity Surveyor - King's Lynn Location: King's Lynn, Norfolk / East Anglia Salary: Up to 45,000 per annum, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Excellent Career Opportunity An established and growing privately owned main contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in King's Lynn, East Anglia . This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking to broaden their commercial experience, take on increased responsibility and develop their career within a successful and supportive construction business. The company delivers a diverse portfolio of projects across the healthcare, retail, education and commercial office sectors , offering excellent exposure to a variety of construction environments and project types across East Anglia. Working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and operational teams, you will play an important role in supporting the commercial delivery of projects from tender and procurement through to completion and final account. The Role As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team across a range of live projects, developing your knowledge and experience across all areas of quantity surveying. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with client valuations and applications for payment Supporting monthly cost-value reconciliation and commercial reporting Monitoring project costs, budgets and financial performance Assisting with subcontractor procurement and account management Supporting tendering, pricing and estimating activities Assisting with the management of variations and change control Supporting contract administration and commercial management Preparing and processing subcontractor payments Assisting with subcontractor and client final accounts Identifying commercial risks, opportunities and potential cost s
