About our client We are working with a highly regarded lower mid-market fund specialising in the tech, software and services space. Their deep sector expertise enables them to stay at the forefront of emerging trends and invest early in high-potential businesses. They work closely with management teams, driving value creation and supporting growth, an approach which has resulted in outstanding exits. They are looking to add an investment associate to their lean and collaborative team. The role offers broad exposure across the full investment cycle, with hands-on involvement in due diligence, valuation and transaction execution, as well as close involvement with portfolio companies post-acquisition. What the job involves Identifying and assessing new investment opportunities, developing investment theses and building relationships with potential targets Taking ownership of key aspects of deal execution including financial modelling, due diligence and transaction analysis Working closely with portfolio companies to identify and deliver strategic value creation opportunities Developing deep sector expertise and staying at the forefront of emerging trends and developments across the landscape Who we are looking for Exposure to and an affinity for the UK mid-market Senior analyst/associate level experience in a UK mid-market investment bank Analyst/associate level experience within a private equity fund Relevant experience in transaction services or corporate finance, typically around 2-6 years Relevant consulting experience, typically around 2-6 years, either within a private equity practice or with a focus on technology #LI-JR2 You will be redirected to the company’s website – you must complete the application on their platform to apply.
