Pear Recruitment - Lettings Negotiator Location - Rainham Kent Salary - £20,000 - £22,000 OTE £27,000 - £30,000 Full UK Licence and own car required for this role Our client, based in the sought-after area of Kent, is looking for a driven Lettings Negotiator to join their successful team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the residential lettings sector, with a good understanding of rental valuations, negotiations and the lettings process. We're looking for a confident, motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an excellent level of service to both landlords and tenants. Working in lettings brings new challenges every day, so the successful applicant will need to be proactive, commercially minded and able to hit the ground running. You'll be confident building strong relationships, managing expectations and progressing deals efficiently from initial enquiry through to completion. Duties Overseeing the lettings process from start to finish Answering general enquiries from potential tenants and Landlords Conduct viewings with prospective tenants. Ensure all viewings are followed up and feedback provided to the landlord. Assisting tenants through the referencing process. Negotiating terms, completing necessary paperwork to finalise and close deals. Working to both individual and team targets. Working to develop professional relationships with clients and colleagues Keep detailed records of transactions, references and agreements Maintain an up-to-date database Ideal Candidate Pro-active, flexible and confident Smart appearance Ability to work on your own Initiative and be self-motivated Excellent Customer service skills Organisational skills Resilient Good IT skills ARLA Qualified woul
