SITE MANAGER - SOLAR PV - RENEWABLE ENERGY - CONSTRUCTION - YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND Location: Yorkshire, England Contract: Freelance / Contract Duration: Initial 5 Months - High Potential Extension / Follow-On Projects Start Date: ASAP - Ideally 2nd November 2026 Sector: Renewable Energy / Utility-Scale Solar PV The Opportunity We are working with an established EPC contractor seeking an experienced Site Manager to support the construction and delivery of a utility-scale Solar PV project in Yorkshire. The project is currently midway through construction, with electrical installation activities due to commence shortly. This is an urgent requirement, with the contractor looking to appoint someone capable of taking immediate responsibility for site management, construction coordination and delivery oversight. Key Responsibilities: Take overall responsibility for day-to-day site management, ensuring construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the project programme. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site supervisors and construction teams across civil, mechanical and electrical installation activities. Oversee site documentation, RAMS, permits, progress reporting and compliance with HSE and quality requirements. Coordinate upcoming electrical installation activities, ensuring effective communication between subcontractors, engineering teams and project stakeholders. Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays and proactively resolve technical and operational issues. Liaise with the EPC Project Manager and client-side representatives to ensure project requirements and delivery milestones are achieved. Support temporary works coordination where appropriately qualified and required.
