Early Years Practitioner

Experience in a group setting with 0-5 year olds Ability to work in a large team Ability to plan nursery activities incorporating the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum Ability to use own initiative Can demonstrate a clear understanding of issues in relation to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults Experience in an administrative role Relevant Childcare Qualification NVQ3 or equivalent First Aid at Work Certificate or willing to work towards Level 2 English and Maths Qualification or Equivalent (We will support any individual wanting to undertake these qualifications during their employment). Understand the need for Nursery and Childcare Policies and Procedures Have knowledge and understanding of the impact of early years legislation on childcare practice
