Eddisonfields is seeking a commercially minded, ambitious individual to join our London team. Working closely with experienced consultants, you will contribute to high-profile international searches for leading banks, private equity firms, investment managers and businesses.
This is a hands-on opportunity to build the research, judgement and relationships required for a long-term career in executive search.

We advise clients on senior, often confidential appointments through rigorous market intelligence, trusted relationships and a highly personalised approach.
The Role
You will work across the search process, from mapping markets and identifying talent to engaging candidates and supporting shortlist delivery. Our approach goes beyond conventional online sourcing: it combines investigative research, direct telephone engagement, professional networks and AI-enabled tools. You will be encouraged to think independently, challenge assumptions and take ownership of your work.
Key Responsibilities
- Map international markets, identify senior executives and analyse organisations, competitors and talent movements.
- Use telephone research, digital resources and AI-enabled tools to develop actionable market intelligence and maintain accurate research records.
- Approach and engage senior professionals, exploring their experience, motivations and suitability for mandates.
- Support search strategy, candidate assessment, shortlist development and ongoing candidate relationships.
- Produce clear candidate profiles, market reports, organisational charts and client presentations.
- Manage concurrent assignments with discretion, accuracy and timely delivery.
About You
You will have at least two years of professional experience, ideally in recruitment, executive search, financial services, real estate, business development or another commercially oriented environment. Previous executive search experience is welcome but not essential.
- Intellectually curious, analytical and interested in people, businesses and financial markets.
- Confident communicating with senior professionals and building credible relationships.
- Commercially aware, resourceful and comfortable taking initiative.
- Resilient, organised and accountable for delivering high-quality work.
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, LinkedIn and digital research tools, with an interest in practical AI applications.
- Professional, discreet and trusted with sensitive information.
