We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and organised Junior Estimator to join our growing Commercial team in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career who wants to learn, develop and gain practical experience in a specialist manufacturing environment. Working alongside experienced estimators, you'll learn how to interpret technical drawings, calculate costs, prepare customer quotations and understand the commercial and manufacturing processes behind our products. You don't need to know everything from day one. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and the ambition to develop their skills. What you'll be doing As a Junior Estimator, you'll play an important role in supporting our Estimating and Commercial teams. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the preparation of accurate, competitive customer quotations. Learning to read and interpret architectural, engineering and CAD drawings. Assisting with measurements, material take-offs and quantity calculations. Developing an understanding of aluminium fabrication products and manufacturing processes. Preparing cost calculations using our inhouse system. Learning how to assess material, labour and production costs. Requesting and reviewing supplier quotations where required. Maintaining accurate quotation records, customer information and electronic filing systems. Working closely with CAD, Production, Purchasing and other internal departments.
