Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester Salary/Benefits: 28k - 38k + Training & Benefits Due to continued company success, our client is seeking an experienced and hardworking Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to join their company. You will be working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, public sector and local authority premises across the North West of England and other areas in the North when required. Applicants must hold strong hands-on experience with ACOP L8 compliance duties, and must hold a basic level of plumbing / remedial experience, plus an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing. Experience / Qualifications: Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer As a minimum, will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing It would be advantageous to hold the G3 Unvented Ticket Good working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines Flexible to travel as per company requirements Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills The Role: Completing pre-planned and reactive water hygiene and remedial works across client sites Showerhead descales TMV servicing and replacements Deadleg removals Inspections, cleans and disinfections of cold water storage tanks Pipework modifications Mains injections Water sampling Temperature monitoring Producing detailed technical reports Alternative job titles: Legionella Plumber, Water Hygiene Technician, Plumber, Water Hy
