Competitive salary package (DOE) Company car or car allowance Pension scheme Ongoing training and professional development Career progression opportunities within a growing business Supportive management team and collaborative working environment Exposure to a variety of construction projects Qualifications Essential: Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge Excellent negotiation and communication skills Full UK Driving Licence Desirable: Membership of RICS or working towards chartership Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts Experience across commercial, residential, healthcare, education or industrial projects Proficiency in commercial management software Roles & Responsibilities Managing all project costs from tender stage through to final account. Preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets and forecasts. Reviewing contracts, identifying commercial risks and opportunities. Negotiating subcontractor packages and procurement schedules. Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports. Managing subcontractor accounts and payments. Monitoring project expenditure and ensuring financial targets are achieved.
