Join Our Team as a Caretaker - Two Full-Time Opportunities! Are you hands-on, practical, and take pride in keeping a school safe, welcoming, and well-maintained? We’re looking for Caretakers to join our growing Trust Estates team as soon as possible. What you’ll do: Keep our school sites in top shape with general repairs, basic carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, and routine maintenance. Respond to daily incidents, from spillages to equipment setup and deliveries. Support the smooth running of the school alongside the site team, including opening/closing shifts. Communicate effectively with children, staff, parents, visitors, and contractors while following health and safety procedures. The successful applicant will be expected to take on 2 evening lettings per week (paid as overtime What we’re looking for: Practical DIY and maintenance skills. Experience in a busy school or similar environment. Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Willingness to support out-of-hours lettings across the Trust.
