Our mission is to help men and boys strengthen their mental fitness, improve their wellbeing, develop confidence and self-awareness, and build the practical skills they need to navigate life's challenges and opportunities. Through life coaching, personal development programmes, workshops and educational activities, we want to make personal growth practical, accessible, empowering and relevant to everyday life. We are at an exciting early stage of our development, building the foundations, people and partnerships needed to turn our ambition into meaningful impact. And we know something important: the strength of our charity will depend on the strength of our people. We want to build more than a volunteer workforce. We want to build a team with shared values, a clear sense of purpose, high standards, a strong identity and a culture in which people feel welcomed, supported, challenged and proud to contribute. That's where you come in. The opportunity We are seeking experienced HR, people development and volunteer management professionals to help establish and develop our HR & Volunteering Team . This is an opportunity to build our volunteering programme from the ground up, create the systems and processes that enable people to thrive, and help shape the culture and identity of Team MINDSET . You will help us attract the right people, understand their strengths, bring them into the organisation effectively, prepare them for their roles and support them to live our values through their everyday actions. We need practical, proactive people who can take ownership, get things moving and help us recruit the talent our charity urgently needs to progress its mission. This is not simply about filling vacancies. It is about building the right team, in the right way, with the right culture from the beginning. What will you help us achieve? Working collaboratively with the charity's leadership and relevant teams, you will help: Build a structured, welcoming and sustainable volunteering programme. Develop our volunteer recruitment strategy and attract talented, values-aligned people. Create a consistent recruitment journey, from initial enquiry and application through to interview, selection, onboarding and induction. Develop role descriptions, person specifications, application processes, interview questions and selection criteria. Coordinate volunteer interviews and help match individuals to roles that suit their skills, experience, interests and availability. Design and implement a comprehensive volunteer onboarding and induction programme. Develop role-specific training, learning resources and ongoing development opportunities. Establish clear expectations, standards of conduct, accountability and support for volunteers. Create practical systems for volunteer records, communications, engagement, feedback, recognition and retention. Help develop a positive volunteer experience in which people feel connected, valued and motivated to contribute. Work with relevant colleagues to establish appropriate safeguarding, safer recruitment, confidentiality, data protection and role-specific checks and training. Help develop the foundations for volunteer supervision, performance support, concerns, complaints and resolving difficulties fairly. Support the charity to build a strong, diverse and inclusive volunteer community. Building the MINDSET Way We want our culture to be something people experience, not simply words in a document. You will help translate our values into the way we recruit, welcome, train, support and work with one another. The MINDSET Way Be Human — treat people with empathy, dignity, respect and understanding. Build, Don't Fix — recognise strengths, develop potential and help people build their own capabilities. Better Every Day — remain curious, keep learning and continually improve. Own Your Journey — take responsibility, act with integrity and be accountable for your contribution. Muck In — work collaboratively, support the team and contribute where needed. Have a Go — show initiative, embrace ideas and be willing to learn through action. Leave People Better — aim to make every interaction constructive, encouraging and worthwhile. We want Team MINDSET to be a place where high care and high accountability go hand in hand. A team with purpose, energy, kindness, courage, ambition and a genuine commitment to progress. You will help shape our team culture, volunteer behaviours, induction materials, internal communications and shared ways of working, ensuring that our values are reflected consistently across t
