Job Description
Job summary
Lancaster Medical Practice is seeking to recruit a Salaried General Practitioner to join our supportive and high-performing team.
Lancaster Medical Practice is a large, at-scale GP provider delivering General Medical Services to approximately 65,000 patients across Lancaster and the surrounding villages. Care is delivered through small, stable clinical micro-teams, enabling continuity of care and strong therapeutic relationships with patients.
Formed in April 2017 from several successful legacy practices, Lancaster Medical Practice has continued to evolve into the strong, high-performing organisation it is today, receiving an Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission in August 2018.
We are a modern general practice, not perfect but reflective, learning, and committed to continuous improvement for both patients and staff. We are realistic about the pressures facing general practice and work constructively with system partners to support safe, appropriately commissioned care, while continuing to learn, adapt, and improve.
For informal enquiries, please contact Peter Heald, Director of Service Development and Delivery, at peter.heald1@nhs.net, or Amy Williams, Managing Partner, at amy.williams59@nhs.net.
