Sales Valuer A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Residential Sales Valuer to join a well-established property business in Shrewsbury. This position would suit someone who enjoys getting out and meeting clients, building relationships and winning new business, whilst delivering a professional and personal service. Role Overview You will be responsible for: Developing new business opportunities and building relationships with prospective vendors Carrying out property appraisals and providing informed advice on local market values Securing new instructions and supporting the growth of the residential sales department Advising homeowners on pricing, marketing and the sales process Maintaining regular contact with prospective and existing clients Using local market knowledge and comparable evidence to support valuations Working alongside the wider team to identify opportunities and deliver a high standard of service About You Previous experience within residential estate agency, ideally in a valuation or listing capacity Confident building relationships and converting opportunities into instructions Strong understanding of the residential property market Excellent communication and negotiation skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating business Professional, personable and comfortable dealing with clients face-to-face Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own diary A genuine interest in property and delivering excellent customer service What's in it for you? £30,000-£40,000 Established independent business with a strong local reputation Opportunity to grow the residential sales operation Supportive and experienced team Varied and client-facing role About Walker & Sloan Walker & Sloan are a BCorp certified recruitment business specialising in property, construction and the built environment.
