Learning Support Assistant St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School in Merrow, Guildford, is looking for a Learning Support Assistant. Hours: 8.30am – 3.20pm Monday to Friday, permanent, term time only. Start date: As soon as possible Salary: XCET3, FTE £24,330, Pro rata £18,403.15 The successful candidate will: Have hands on experience working with children with SEN. Enjoy working as part of a happy, hardworking team. Be working in KS2 initially (but would need to be flexible to work across all primary phases.) Be enthusiastic, creative and positive. Have initiative and be able to motivate and encourage children. Offer classed based learning support for students as well as lead small group interventions. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Have experience as an LSA/Teaching Assistant desirable, but not essential.
