Interim Management Accountant Location: Plymouth (5 days per week on-site) Duration: Up to 9 months Start Date: ASAP Rate: Up to £35 per hour (37.5 hours per week) An established manufacturing business in Plymouth is seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to support the finance team during a key period of change and growth. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to work closely with both finance and operational teams, providing accurate financial reporting and commercial insight to support decision-making across the business. Key Responsibilities Preparation and review of monthly management accounts Supporting month-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations Producing detailed P&L analysis and financial commentary Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities Business partnering with operational and production teams to support performance and cost control Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function Delivering insightful reporting and analysis to support business objectives About You Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE) Previous management accounting experience within a manufacturing environment Strong financial reporting and month-end accounting skills Commercially minded with excellent analytical ability Confident communicator who can build effective relationships across the business Available at short notice or immediately available What's on Offer Immediate start opportunity Up to £35 per hour 37.5-hour working week Opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing organisation Varied and commercially focused interim assignment To find out more, please apply today or get in touch for a confidential discussion. #4589947 - Thomas Hayes
