We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitionerto join our Planned Care Team at HMP Oakwood, a category C Prison located in Wolverhampton.In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.

HMP Oakwood is one of the largest prison in the UK, housing over 1,500 men.

The site offers:

Hours:

Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm

4 week shift pattern.

This position is full time working 37.5 hours per week.

Salary:

You'll receive an annual salary between£59,677 - £66,792 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Advanced Clinical Practitioner,your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patient problems
• Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team, This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including; mental health, and substance misuse practitioners
• You will act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times
• Supporting senior clinicians on site you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients
• As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.
