This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor looking for varied projects, greater responsibility and a good balance between home, office and site. The contractor has a long-standing hotel framework and a steady pipeline of fit-out and refurbishment work, so there is plenty of variety without the uncertainty of moving from project to project. You will manage each scheme from the first site survey and pricing stage through to final account. This gives you direct involvement throughout the job, regular contact with the client and a clear understanding of how each project is performing commercially. The Quantity Surveyor Role You will take full commercial ownership of this framework workstream, managing three to four live hotel fit-out and refurbishment projects at a time. You will have the autonomy to make decisions and manage each scheme properly. Typical duties will include: Completing initial site visits, reviewing scopes and preparing project costs Managing budgets, cost reporting and commercial risk across multiple schemes Pricing and agreeing variations Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts Leading pre-start and commercial meetings Working directly with clients, site teams and subcontractors Taking each project through to final account Travel is manageable, with s
