Gwernyfed High School Required for September 2027 Welsh Teacher (training as a Secondary teacher) x 2 Teaching Welsh as Second Language £23,519 + Teacher Pension Gwernyfed High School is offering an exceptional opportunity through a fully funded, two-year PGCE partnership program, sponsored by the Welsh Government in collaboration with the Open University. The successful candidate will teach through the medium of Welsh and join the school in its commitment to supporting the Welsh Government’s campaign to increase the number of Welsh speakers in Wales. This program is designed for graduates from various industries looking to change careers, as well as individuals with experience working with children and young people. This includes teaching assistants, learning coaches, or youth officers aiming to advance their careers. Applications are also welcomed from university students in their final year.
