Your new company A leading Tier 1 construction contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Telehandler Driver to join a major new-build project in Blackpool. This is a long-term freelance opportunity on a large and busy site, supporting multiple trades throughout the construction programme. [Blackpool...rks driver | Word] Your new role As Telehandler Driver, you will be responsible for operating an 18m telescopic forklift, moving materials safely across site and supporting subcontractors and direct labour as required. You will work closely with site management to maintain site logistics and keep works progressing safely and efficiently. [Blackpool...rks driver | Word] Key duties include: Operating an 18m telescopic telehandler. Loading, unloading and transporting materials around site. Supporting various trades with deliveries and material movements. Carrying out daily plant checks. Maintaining safe working practices at all times. Assisting with general site logistics when required. [Blackpool...rks driver | Word] What you'll need to succeed Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket. Previous experience operating a telescopic forklift on construction projects. Strong understanding of site health and safety. Ability to work effectively within a busy site team. Reliable and available for an immediate start. What you'll get in return Freelance contract. Long-term work available, with approximately 40 weeks' duration.
