What you will do:
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in diagnostic endoscopy clinics.
- Prepare and assess patients for endoscopic procedures, ensuring they are ready for treatment.
- Assist the clinical team during endoscopic procedures, prioritising patient safety, dignity, and comfort.
- Monitor patients during procedures, escalating any clinical concerns promptly.
- Maintain precise and accurate patient records, completing all necessary documentation.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures, adhering to clinical guidelines and patient safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing colleagues, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient clinic operation.
- Support effective patient flow and contribute to meeting clinic activity targets.
