Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Westminster Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Leasehold Advisor this role will be based at: City Hall 64 Victoria Street, 64 Victoria Street SW1E6QP The right candidate will: Handle complex queries from residents, leaseholders, tenants, staff, legal representatives, and external stakeholders via email, phone, and in-person. Respond to accounts-related enquiries from lessees and sales applicants professionally and efficiently. Process applications for home ownership schemes, lease extensions, alterations, assignments, and property sales. Calculate both estimated and actual service charges (revenue and capital), ensuring compliance with all statutory, contractual, and policy requirements. Produce accurate calculations for lessees, with full reconciliation against Council systems and complete audit trails. Produce statutory Section 20 Notices, ensuring all information meets legislative and Council standards. Prepare all documentation required for issuing major works bills, assessing liabilities in accordance with lease terms and Section 125 limitations. We require the following: Prior experience working within the leasehold sector (essential). Experience preparing and managing service charges and major works bills. Understanding of Section 20 and Section 20B legislative requirements.
