Yard Operative

Location: Bishops Stortford Yard Operative 12.71 per hour Monday to Friday Temporary to Permanent Opportunity Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Yard Operative to join our busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career within a yard environment, with full training provided and opportunities for progression. Key Duties: Operating a wood saw and other machinery safely and efficiently Carrying out repetitive production and yard tasks Ensuring products are processed to the required standards Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area Supporting general yard operations as required Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:30pm What We're Looking For: No previous experience required - full training will be provided Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work in a repetitive role Reliable and punctual A driver with access to transport due to the location of the site What's On Offer: 12.71 per hour Full training and support No heavy lifting involved Opportunity to develop skills and progress into other areas of the yard after becoming fully trained on the wood saw operation (typically within the first few months) Potential temporary-to-permanent position for the right candidate Join a growing business with long-term career prospects If you're looking for a hands-on role with training, development opportunities and the potential for a permanent position, we'd love to hear from you.
