Fire Door Joiner £25.00 per hour CIS (Own Vehicle) | £22.00 per hour CIS (Company Van Provided) Location: Social Housing Properties (Various Locations) Contract: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: ASAP We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Joiner to carry out fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works across occupied and void social housing properties. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with the potential to move into a permanent position with a well-established contractor. Essential Requirements Valid CSCS Card Relevant NVQ Qualification in Carpentry & Joinery or associated trade Asbestos Awareness Certificate Manual Handling Certificate Willingness to undergo a DBS Check Proven experience working on fire doors within residential or social housing environments Full UK Driving Licence preferred Duties Will Include Installation of new fire doors and frames to required specifications Carrying out fire door remedial works, upgrades, and maintenance Adjusting, repairing, and replacing door components including intumescent strips, hinges, closers, locks, and seals Ensuring all fire doors comply with current fire safety regulations and standards Completing fire door inspections and identifying defects requiring rectification Working within occupied and void social housing properties whilst maintaining high levels of customer service Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Accurately completing job sheets and associated compliance paperwork If you have the required qualifications and experience and are looking for a temp-to-perm opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.
