Job Description
Executive Assistant to UHNW Principal Austin, Texas Relocation to the US is required (fully funded). This is a slightly unusual search. We are deliberately looking in the UK and Europe for an Executive Assistant to relocate to Austin, Texas. And there is a reason. The Principal is building a newly created Family Office infrastructure with significant international ambitions, including further expansion across the UK and Europe. They want an EA who knows this part of the world. Someone who has worked in London, the UK, or Europe. Who understands how business gets done here. Who knows the people, institutions, advisers, culture, and nuances that come with operating internationally Someone who can bring that experience with them to Austin. But there are some non-negotiables. You must already have the legal right to work in the United States. US Citizenship, a Green Card, or another existing unrestricted right to work in the US. The employer cannot offer visa sponsorship. You should also retain the right to work in the UK and/or relevant European jurisdictions. The ability to operate freely across both the US and Europe will be important as the Family Office develops its international footprint. And then there is the bigger requirement. You need to be world-class at being an Executive Assistant. This is not an opportunity to move into UHNW support. It is for someone who already operates at the very top of the profession. You will have significant experience supporting UHNW Principals, Founders, Chair, or Managing Partners within environments such as: Investment Banking. Private Equity. Venture Capital. Hedge Funds. Family Offices. Private Investment Offices. You will have supported multiple Principals of this calibre, with meaningful tenure. And critically, you will understand both sides of their world. Business and private. Boards, investments, advisers, portfolio companies, and senior stakeholders. Alongside residences, family, international travel, private aviation, and the thousand moving pieces surrounding a UHNW life. You understand that at this level, diary management isn't administration. It is the allocation of the Principal's most valuable commodity: Time. You know who gets moved. Who never gets moved. What needs escalating. What disappears before the Principal ever knows it existed. When to ask. When not to ask. And when to make the decision yourself. This is an Executive Assistant role. Not Chief of Staff. Not Strategy. Not P&L. Not Special Projects. An Executive Assistant. At the very highest level. For the right person, this is an opportunity to take everything you have learned operating at the top of the profession in the UK or Europe and bring that experience into the creation of a significant new Family Office in Austin. You will need: World-class UHNW EA experience. Experience working in the UK and/or Europe. European languages are advantageous. The existing right to work in the United States without sponsorship. The ability to work in the UK and/or Europe. A willingness to relocate to Austin.
