Identity & Access Management (IdAM) Architect Location: London (On-Site) Salary: 550 - 700 Type: Contract The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IdAM) Architect to join our Security Architecture team and play a key role in shaping and enhancing our enterprise security capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an architect who is passionate about delivering secure, scalable, and innovative identity solutions while supporting major transformation initiatives including Journey to the Cloud , Service Management Convergence , and wider business change programmes. You will work closely with Security Architects, Engineering teams, Risk Advisors, and business stakeholders to ensure security is embedded by design and aligned to both business and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities As an IdAM Architect, you will: Provide specialist security and identity architecture support across strategic programmes of work, including IdAM, Service Management Convergence, and cloud transformation initiatives. Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies, technical requirements, and target operating models. Conduct security architecture reviews, vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and integration assessments to support secure business outcomes. Partner with Solution and System Architects to ensure security principles are embedded throughout solution design and delivery. Verify that Security Control Objectives and security guardrails are followed and implemented across services and platforms. Provide detailed technical risk analysis to Risk Advisors, supporting service and product risk assessments for review by risk owners. Design and implement identity and security solutions, including defining security methodologies, standards, technologies, and processes.
