Job Description

Supervisor : Dr Daniel G. Congrave Start date : 1 st October 2027 Applications are invited a DPhil studentship in Synthetic Organic and Physical Chemistry available from October 2027, to work under the supervision of Dr Daniel Congrave in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford. The studentship will cover course fees at a Home rate and provide a stipend of no less than the standard UK Research Council rate (currently set at £21,805 p.a.) for 4 years. The research is interdisciplinary and will encompass the design, synthesis and investigation of new luminescent organic materials. The aim is to make fundamental progress to facilitate a new generation of materials with implications in a wide range of applications, particularly optoelectronics (e.g. solar panels, sensing and displays).
