Site Maintenance Officer – Required ASAP Barnstaple – Yeo Valley Primary School We are seeking to appoint a reliable, practical and proactive Site Maintenance Officer to oversee the upkeep, maintenance and security of Yeo Valley Primary School. This is a varied role, offering the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring our school environment remains safe, welcoming and well-maintained for pupils, staff and visitors. Your Role As Site Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the school site is presented to a high standard and operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Duties will include: Opening and securing the school site each day Carrying out routine site inspections and basic maintenance tasks Undertaking general repairs and minor improvement works around the school Maintaining the school grounds, including grass cutting and other seasonal duties Taking and recording meter readings Shovelling snow and gritting paths and car parks where required Supporting contractors and visitors working on site where required Ensuring the school premises remain clean, safe and compliant with health and safety requirements.
