‘Strive Pride Independence Resilience Excellence Support’ ​ As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping to create a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive. Working closely with teachers and the wider school team, you will provide support that enables pupils to overcome barriers to learning and develop confidence, independence, and resilience. ​ What You'll Be Doing ​ As a Teaching Assistant, you will: ​ Support pupils in their learning both within the classroom and through individual or small group interventions Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons Help create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development Encourage positive relationships and promote pupil wellbeing Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to meet individual pupil needs Contribute to implementing individual learning and support plans Maintain accurate records where required and support educational reviews Promote positive behaviour through a nurturing and trauma-informed approach ​ This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people by helping them develop the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to succeed. ​ About The Spires School ​ The Spires School is committed to delivering high-quality education within a supportive and nurturing environment.
